What I Learned From Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

What I Learned From Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone
Taken during my solo trip to Valencia, Spain. One of the first times that I REALLY stepped out of my comfort zone.

  1. You can actually learn something you've never done before with the right amount of dedication.

  2. It’s easy to dedicate time to something you really want to do, even if you know nothing about it.

  3. You can do ANYTHING you set your mind to, even if it’s something completely foreign to you.

  4. Chances are your new support system/family is waiting outside of your comfort zone, ready to welcome you with open arms.

  5. Interests are always growing, and passions can still be found. But you have to step out of your comfort zone if you want to find it.

  6. You know you're too attached to your comfort zone when you think it's okay to be restricted to things you only know and understand. But is that the way to live?

  7. We have this constant the fear of failure and rejection that prevents us from taking the first step out of your comfort zone. But once you do, those fears disappear.

  8. You gain a diverse set of experiences that are completely different from what you normally would have.

  9. When you get out of your comfort zone, you feel more confident about yourself.

  10. Stepping out of your comfort zone allows you to grow and push the boundaries of your comfort level…and that’s all the more reason to continue stepping out of it again and again.

Congratulations to everyone who finished finals and are on spring break! Challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone this spring break and see where it takes you! You might just surprise yourself.
